The West Coast of the United States produces some of the best Pinot Noir in the world.

However, each region of the West Coast produces distinct Pinots with their own unique characteristics.

This Thursday, we are picking two wines from three major Pinot Noir regions within the West Cost.  Here’s a chance to learn the unique characteristics of each, side by side.

We are pouring the following six wines:

• Four Graces Pinot Noir – Willamette 09
• Witness Tree Pinot Noir – Willamette 09
• Bouchaine Pinot Noir – Carneros ‘07 (Wine Enthusiast 92 points)
• Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir – Russian River ‘07
• Fess Parker Ashley’s Pinot Noir – Santa Barbara ‘07 (Wine Advocate 90 points)
• Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir – Santa Barbara Historical Collection  ‘07

The cost is only $20 per person.
Reservation is not required but recommended.

Our new bartender - Eno

Eno – Our New Bartender

UnCorked is proud to announce the newest member of our team, the EnoMatic Wine Serving System or “Eno” for short. Eno is a bartender extraordinaire! It is capable of pouring four separate wines in three precise measures – taste, flight, and a full glass pour.

More importantly, Eno knows how to pour these wines without exposing them to air. It utilize inert Argon gas to fill the bottle as it dispenses wine. A bottle of wine can be kept fresh for up to 15 days after opening. Best of all, Eno is very, very good looking!

So why should you care about “Eno”? The EnoMatic system allows us to pour ultra-premium wines such as Caymus, Silver Oak, and Cakebread on a regular basis at a price lower than anyone else. In addition, you will be able to purchase a 1 1/2 ounce taste pour of these premium wines at a modest price. We will rotate the premium wines on a regular basis so there will be always new famtastic wines for you to try.

We are celebrating the introduction of “Eno” this month with ultra-low by-the-glass prices for our ultra-premium wines. So come in to UnCorked and say hi to Eno!

New and Improved UnCorked Wine Bar

If you haven’t visited us in the last few weeks, you are in for a pleasant surprise! We have been busy during the month of August making major changes to our bar. The main change you’ll notice is that the bar area is 30% larger. We have removed the wall separating the bar area from the retail area and built a new smaller wall in its place. The result is a much more comfortable seating arrangement.

We have also created a small lounge seating area for a couple to enjoy their wine. Comfortable lounge chairs separated by a small table makes for an intimate, romantic mood.

We have made lots of other changes as well. We have new bar chairs with more comfortable, padded seating. We also have a new Wine Flight Tree so we can serve our three glass flights in style. We are even using real candle lights to enhance the romantic mood.

The remodel is just the first step of many other improvements we are making, including better prices for wine flights and new appetizer menu items. So come by and check out all the exciting changes.

Vine Art Collection

These retired grapevines have brought joy to generations of wine drinkers. Though their wine making days are behind them, their distinctive character lasts on. Decades of careful cultivation combined with the vines natural tendency to create their own whimsical chaos yields striking compositions.

With some careful shaping and finishing, each piece becomes a work of art suitable for warming the heart of the true wine lover.
