Our wine guru, Brandon Beeson has a lifelong passion for wine. Brandon began his wine career while attending school and playing Divison I basketball at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Working a summer and a harvest with Castoro Cellars in Paso Robles, CA, Brandon caught a glimpse into the fascinating world of wine and has never looked back.

In addition to managing our bar, Brandon is the publisher of a wine lifestyle publication called Color and Aroma, The Wine Magazine for Everyone! After publishing two issues, Color and Aroma has evolved into an interactive website experience full of great articles, interesting facts and a passion for all things related to wine.

With his connection to the wine industry and wine enthusiasts, Brandon will enrich your wine experience with information, color, and wit.

The newest member of our team, Chef Gregory Allyn adds a new dimension of culinary experience to UnCorked. Raised in the Baltimore, MD area, he has been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. He has worked in both front and back-of-the-house roles with establishments such as The Classic Catering People, Le LaFayette, 1789 Restaurant in Georgetown, and Nichi Bei Kai Steak House of Japan.

An artist at heart, it is the creativity of cuisine that caused Gregory to train with Chef Laurent Brazier of Laguna Culinary Arts in the classic French tradition. The honesty of food – and his mother’s influence – are what inspired Chef Gregory Allyn to finally pursue his passion and found Francois Allyn Chef Services Inc. where he provides the highest quality catering, culinary instruction, and personal chef services to his clients.

Chef Allyn creates a unique and exciting small plate experience at UnCorked on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. On Thursday nights, we expand the traditional wine tasting experience by pairing the wines with a special menu designed specifically to enhance the enjoyment of the featured wines.
