Introduction

JCB No.69 Cremant de Bourgogne Brut Rose, France
Jean-Charles Boisset, the visionary behind JCB, is fervently passionate about Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from both his native Burgundy as well as from Sonoma County, where he owns DeLoach Vineyards. JCB wines are crafted to express a style that embodies only the finest characteristics of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Number 69 is a seductively light and refreshing rosé. Vibrant aromas of raspberry and red currant evolve into aromatic jammy notes. This wine is tender in the mouth with crisp flavors.

Plantino Prsecco DOCG, Italy
The color is light straw – yellow tending to pale green. Its crystal clarity is laced with a persistent perlage of fine bubbles. The bouquet, although persistent is extremely delicate which brings mature golden apples and acacia flowers readily to mind. It is fresh on the palate and pleasantly light in alcohol, extremely smooth and well-balanced.

Barcelona Brut Cava, Spain
The Celler Barcelona Cava is fresh, fine and fun to enjoy. This is a gentle brut that is dry, yet not too acidic; a perfect choice for appetizers on the back porch. Medium straw in color with light yellow tint; flowery and bright in the, endearing, core fruit, peach skin in the aromas; medium bodied, soft and smooth on the palate; dry to off day, medium acidity, nicely balanced; offers pleasing flavors of flowers and apples; medium finish, smooth aftertaste.

Chronic Cellars Grand Spritz and Giggles Cuvee, California
Almost the color of water in the glass, this offers notes of lemonade, freshly-cut kiwi, honeydew, white peach, Japanese pear and white peach on the fruit-forward nose. A sip offers intense white flowers flavors and a guava-led tropicality.

Champagne Drappier Carte D’OR Brut, France
The Carte d’Or cuvée is the very expression of the Drappier style. With its very high proportion of Pinot Noir, one is almost tasting a Blanc de Noirs. Champagne with a fine aromatic richness, it opens with aromas of stoned fruits such as white vineyard peach. A spicy hint announces a powerful complex palate. A vinous Champagne of lovely complexity with a characteristic note of quince jelly.

Wine Spectator -
“This balanced version is firm and lightly toasty, with a tightly knit mix of ripe plum, blanched almond and orange liqueur flavors. Ample ground spice and pink grapefruit zest notes show on the vivacious finish. Drink now through 2020. ” – 90 Points
