California wine is almost three quarters the size of France, California accounts for nearly 90 percent of American wine production. If California were a separate country, it would be the world’s fourth largest wine producer.[2]
The state’s viticultural history dates back to the 18th century when Spanish missionaries planted the first vineyards to produce wine for Mass. Today there are more than 1,200 wineries in the state, ranging from small boutique wineries to large corporations with distribution around the globe.[

Toad Hollow Francine’s Selection Unoaked Chardonnay 20114 (Mendocino)
This Chardonnay is clean and crisp with tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Slow malolactic fermentation with time on the lees help to create a full, rich mouth-feel that perfectly balances the bright acids and stainless steel aging. Chardonnay drinkers love the depth and intensity in this 100% unoaked Chardonnay and a lower RS adds to its complexity. A palate pleaser for 20 years!

Alma Rosa La Encantada Pinot Noir 2012 (Santa Marbara)
Wine Advocate
“Showing a darker, richer style, the 2012 Pinot Noir La Encantada Vineyard spent 16 months in 20% new French oak and comes from a vineyard that’s located on the southwestern side of the Sta. Rita Hills. Showing impressive blackberry and black cherry-like fruit that’s intermixed with notions of spring flowers, spice and earth, it has beautiful mid-palate density, a supple layered texture and plenty of length. The overall impression here is relatively forward and ready to go.”

Paoletti Vineyard Piccolo Cru 2014 (Napa Valley)
The Piccolo Cru is refined, complex and elegant. Well integrated with black cherry, warm spice, smokey oak and supple tannins. Pair with beef wellington, slow roasted lamb with caramelized red wine sauce, or roast duck with citrus pan sauce.

Tables Creek Paletin de Tablas Rough 2013 (Paso Robles)
Wine Advocate -
“The 2013 Patelin de Tablas is the only wine in the lineup that includes purchased grapes. A blend of 45% Syrah, 29% Grenache, 22% Mourvedre and 4% Counoise, it has bright red and blackberry fruit, damp underbrush, licorice and hints of crushed rock in its medium-bodied, chewy and rich profile. It should be a serious value to drink over the coming couple of years.”

Alexander Valley School Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 (Sonoma Valley)
Hank Wetzel produced AVV’s first wines in 1975 and the wine world quickly took notice of the elegant Cabernet Sauvignons from Alexander Valley. Thirty years later in 2004 he decided to focus on the flavor profile that made the valley famous, releasing a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon known as the Alexander School Reserve. A dense purple robe and vibrant violet rim lead to aromas of cassis, cardamom, espresso and graphite. 2013 shows purity of site and fruit; a core of black plum and cherry, intertwined with layers of exotic spice, heightened by ripe, polished tannins, natural vibrancy and a long silky finish
