Left Coast Cellars was founded in 2003 by Suzanne Larson and her family in Rickreall, Oregon, a town fifteen minutes northwest of Salem, Oregon and just west of the Eola- Amity Hills sub-appellation boundary of Willamette Valley which is recognized as one of the premier Pinot Noir producing areas in the world. The 130 acres of vineyards are planted on varying soils, elevations, and slopes throughout the 356-acre property, and it is this diverse combination of geography and geology that gives Left Coast Cellars wines a distinct sense of pride and place. With commitment to the land and preservation for generation to come, they are environmentally conscious and sustainably driven to protect the vineyards’ pristine ecology. They carefully craft exclusively estate-grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Viognier and Syrah. Left Coast Cellars is truly one of Willamette Valley’s gems.

Left Coast White Pinot Noir 2014 – What began in 2011 as a tiny experimental wine has quickly blossomed into one of Left Coast Cellars’ most unique wines. Crushed at extremely cold temperatures to insure no coloration from the skins, the pure Pinot Noir juice is then fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees for 5 months. The result is a wine that bears hallmark Pinot Noir aromas of cherries and spice, with counterpoint white wine flavors of pear, honey suckle and peach. Left Coast Cellars 100% White Pinot Noir engages the senses with spiced pear, cardamom, peach, citrus pith, honey & straw aromas. Honey, citrus and orange blossom coat the palate. Considerable depth with a mineral/slate finish.

Left Coast Rose Pinot Noir 2013 – Pale salmon color 100% Pinot Noir, picked early for the purpose of making Rosé. Quite dry and elegant; it’s a juicy, acidic wine, with pretty strawberry, grapefruit and watermelon flavors highlighted by a mineral finish. Lovely texture and uplifting throughout and into the finish. So much more French at every turn!

Left Coast Cali Cuvee Pinot Noir 2013 – Named after the family’s left-handed daughter, Cali, this Cuvée blend) is 100% Dijon, Pommard and Wädenswil clone Pinot Noir. Cali’s Pinot Noir is a versatile and food-friendly wine, pairing beautifully with anything from the grill. Supple and open in texture, this wine offers a mouthful of ripe plum and cherry flavors that mingle with floral and spicy notes.

Left Coast Latitude 45 Pinot Noir 2012 – This Dijon clone, single vineyard designate is known for its spice and red fruit flavors. Latitude 45 Pinot Noir stands up to bold flavors, such as braised meats and root vegetables. A nose redolent with tart cherry, and raspberry, mirrored flavors carry through to be joined by candy apple and a grippy cinnamon spice finish.

Left Coast Suzanne’s Estate Pinot Noir 2010 – Left Coast Cellars’ 2010 Suzanne’s Estate Pinot Noir is 100% estate grown and produced, blending fruit from only the best barrels of the vintage to craft this reserve offering. Aromas of musky cherry pits, dark berries, white pepper and allspice mingle on the nose and complement the sleek, refined palate with flavors of tangy black raspberry, bitter cherry, blackberry, and an exotic touch of blood orange. Soft tannins add just the right amount of support to this Pinot’s bright fruit flavors and linger on the long finish.
