Nickel & Nickel Vogt Cabernet

This is the tasting you’ve been waiting for. A rare chance to taste four great Cabernets and an exceptional Chardonnay from the legendary Oakville winery.
Nickel & Nickel was established in 1997 by the partners of Far Niente. Their wines are all 100% varietal, single-vineyard wines that express the unique terroir of each vineyard.
The Nickel & Nickel wines have been consistently rated in the 90’s and the 2006 vintage is an exceptional release. Nickel & Nickel Cabernet Sauvignons are big and bold, with high tannins that are balanced with concentrated flavors. These wines are meant to last for 20+ years in the cellar.
We are pouring the following wines:
- Nickel & Nickel Tench Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
- Nickel & Nickel Vogt Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 (RP 91+)
- Nickel & Nickel Sullenger Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 (RP 92+)
- Nickel & Nickel Copper Streak Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
- Nickel & Nickel Truchard Vineyard Chardonnay 2007 (WS 90)
The cost of this tasting is $35 per person. The bottles will be available for purchase at 10% off of our regular prices.
The amount of wine available for pouring is limited and we expect this event to sell out.
