Ridge Geyserville 2008

Ridge is one of our favorite vineyards. This Santa Cruz Mountain based winery produces first rate wines from grapes sourced from its own Santa Cruz area vineyards as well as Sonoma, Monterey, and Paso Robles vineyards. We are proud to serve many of the fine wines from this vineyard.

The new 2008 Geyserville is now in stock: Ripe, exotic and loaded with personality. Aromas of ripe blackberry, underbrush and licorice lead to concentrated huckleberry and cracked-pepper beef flavors that finish with lively tannins. Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah and Mataro. 2007 was rated 91 points by Wine Spectator. The 2008 is not yet rated.

The new 2008 Santa Cruz Mountain Chardonnay is also in stock: Combines richness with an elegant, delicate mouthfeel, showing deep layers of ripe fig and green pear, honeydew melon and smoky oak. Balanced, focused, pure and lingering. 2007 was rated 92 points by Wine Spectator. The 2008 is not yet rated. We do have few bottles of the 2007 still left in the store.

You can purchase Ridge wines directly at UnCorked Wine Bar or save by ordering on-line at our webwine.com one-line store and pick up the wine at the store.
